thoughts on being an expatriate
you win. though I'm giving you a run for your money by leaving the door to the steep cement stairs open while the toddler toddles past. kitten ok?
Kitten is fine. I may shoot myself from guilt in the interim
Always remember that your own mother told you to suck it up when you actually DID have a broken arm!Is Semsek nice and fluffy now?
I guess I come by my parenting skills rightfully! On the plus side, I'll never mock you again for leaving me out in the thunderstorm that one time.
Ouch! A daughter dagger to my itty, bitty, cold black heart! ;-)
I took a bit of convincing to believe my son's collarbone was broken... he just fell while running, and this was a kid who never got hurt otherwise! I couldn't fathom his going from indestructible to broken in a mere second! We must have gone to the same 'mean mom' class. Glad to hear that your kitten is ok... I'm sure he will never do that again, even if he came out lemon scented, degreased, and squeaky clean. :(
Yay! Connie is on our side.
Sorry. I laughed. Couldn't help myself. Glad that cat's ok. Still funny.
Ahhhhhh. If it's any consolation, I once locked my cat in the fridge. The only thing that saved her was her brother running around the apartment meowing like an maniac until I finally figured out what he was upset about.
